4th of July Projects for the Preschool Classroom

Our preschool classroom was red, white, and blue this month with all of the 4th of July projects we made!

These windsocks were fun and easy for the kids. Just add star cookie cutters to red and blue paint and have the kids make prints on white paper. I added a bit of glue to our paint so the kids could sprinkle a bit of glitter for that little extra:) Add streamers to the bottom and a string to the top. So festive!

Our star wands were a lot of fun to make. I used two pipe cleaners for each wand. First, mold one pipe cleaner into a star and then attach the handle. Before starting we discussed the patterning of the beads.

Fun fireworks!! The prints are made from pipe cleaners.

Simple to prep and a fun art invitation for the kids! Cut out stars and provide red, white, and blue paint.
Easy star painting with small paintbrushes. Great for fine motor skills.
At the easel, I hung a small flag for the kids to reference. (Our easel is in a different room from our flag we use to say the pledge.) I am in love with how our flags turned out! Tip: I showed the kids how to add the stars to the blue paint so they would stand out.
Pin for later!
