I love a good turkey handprint and don’t forget cornucopias!
One of my favorite projects of the year, making delicious-smelling handprint turkeys! Have your students make a glue handprint on their paper and then sprinkle a mix of cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg over the glue.
Add stick legs, a gobble, and googly eyes!
I love the way the classic turkey handprints turn out and we do these every year. Paint the palm and thumb brown and paint fall colors on each of the fingers! Add gobbles, eyes, and stick legs.
I have been making cornucopias with my students for years! I love hearing them talk about all the fruits and vegetables they are adding to their baskets.
Pin poking is such a great fine motor activity. Trace a turkey onto brown construction paper and have the students poke them out with a pin. Add googly eyes of course!
Make these simple turkeys and write what the kids are thankful for on the feathers.
Make corn with this simple lego printing activity.
Add feathers to an upside-down colander. This has been very popular!
