A perfect extension to the book Apples on Top. This is a great beginning of the year activity. Print the printable and pictures of your students. Your students will cut the apple strips and then glue their pictures and apples to them. Great for counting practice too!

Your kids will have so much fun playing this game. Place the apples in a pocket chart or on the floor, and hide the worm behind one of the numbers. Have the kids guess which number the worm is hiding behind.
