Apple Preschool Activities

I love a good theme and of course, at the beginning of the school year, it is all about apple activities in the preschool classroom! All of these activities are available in my Preschool Apple Activities resource on Teachers Pay Teachers. 

Have you printed on construction paper? It is so simple, just cut the paper to the correct size your paper tray will hold and print! Add red and green paint and you have a fun, simple, easy prep art project!

Just add a red or green dot art paint to this printable and you have a quick and easy apple activity!

Add simple trees and red playdough to the playdough table you have a fun apple activity. A great opportunity to use fine motor skills to make the apples and practice counting!

Use this simple pocket chart exercise to have your students practice sorting.

Use these apple shape flashcards at group time to practice shapes or hang them in your classroom.

An apple project for individual student shape practice. Use a clothespin to match the shape.

A perfect extension to the book Apples on Top. This is a great beginning of the year activity. Print the printable and pictures of your students. Your students will cut the apple strips and then glue their pictures and apples to them. Great for counting practice too!

Print the apples on red paper, cut them out, and the students can practice cutting on the lines.

Your kids will have so much fun playing this game. Place the apples in a pocket chart or on the floor, and hide the worm behind one of the numbers. Have the kids guess which number the worm is hiding behind.
