Apple Name Activity

At the beginning of the year, we do a lot of name projects and we are big into scissor skills.  This apple name activity checks the boxes for both.

Edit the Apples

You will need to download this free version of Adobe to add the names to the apples. Then type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing delete the letters and add the next name.

Print the apples on red construction paper.

Or print on white paper for your students to color.

Cut and Glue the Apples

Have your students cut on the dotted lines and then glue the letters of their names onto corresponding construction paper to make an apple.

Also included in the resource are number-order apple puzzles. The puzzles include 1-5 and 1-10.
