Back to School Scissor Activities
Are you looking for back to school scissor activities for your classroom? Start with scissor safety and then practice snipping small strips of paper and then gradually add more challenging activities.
Scissor Strips
Download and print these scissor strips and then cut them apart. Print the colored strips on white construction paper and print the black and white strips on colored construction paper. A thicker paper like construction paper or lightweight card stock will give your students better success.
Have your students snip the strips while aiming to cut on the lines.
Back to School Scissor Activity
Change up the scissor activity throughout the year. Print these back to school scissor shapes on colored construction paper and cut them out.
Start with the thinner shapes such as the pencil and the marker. These are one to two snips. Then move on to the other shapes for more cutting practice.
