Car Name and Scissor Craft

This car name and scissor activity is an ideal craft for your preschool class! It helps students practice recognizing their names while improving their scissor skills as they create their personalized cars. It is a fantastic project to include when exploring the transportation theme in your classroom.

To add the names to the cars you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing delete the letters and add the next name. The resource includes templates for students with up to 11 letters in their names.

Print the templates on white construction paper, cut them out, and have your students color the cars before cutting them a part.

Print on colored construction paper and cut them out. Your students will cut on the dotted lines and then assemble their cars.

The resource also includes a printable road template to glue the car on.

Car Number Order Craft

Make this activity a math project! Print the cars with the numbers for a number order activity. Numbers 1-5, 1-10, teens, and tens are included!
