Christmas Preschool Ornament Crafts
Making Christmas preschool ornament crafts with your students is so much fun. There are so many crafts that are easy to set up and will turn out adorable. Many will become treasures for your families and the kids will be so excited to see their creations hung on their trees!
We make these classic popsicle stick frames each year. Hot glue the frame and have the kids glue a variety of pasta pieces to the frame.
Spray paint gold or silver, add their photos, and some ribbon.
These fun Christmas-shaped ornaments are also made with popsicle sticks. Have your students paint them green and then add gems.
We made these jingle bells with egg cartons, pipe cleaners, and bells. Once your students have painted the egg cartons, poke a small hole in the top and feed the pipe cleaner in and tie on the bell.
Another fun egg carton craft is these cute Rudolph ornaments. Paint the egg carton brown, and add antlers with pipe cleaners, googly eyes, and a red pom-pom nose. Poke a hole in the top to add the string.
These are one of my favorites to make with the kids each year. They LOVE the way they turn out and are so excited to take them home. I start with the clear plastic ornaments and tell the kids they can only choose two paint colors and white. (I use acrylic paint with these.) Squirt the paint into the ornament and roll it around until it covers the entire inside of the ornament. Dry them upside down for the first day or two so all the paint will drip out, then give them at least another day or two to dry before sending them home.
Print these free Christmas keepsake ornaments from my TPT store. Grab some fun Christmas ribbons and start measuring the kids. Each year they will be able to pull off the ribbon and see how much they have grown since preschool.
Of course, you have to make the pony bead Christmas candy cane and wreath ornaments in your class every year! They turn out so cute and your students are working on fine motor and patterning skills.
