December Preschool Activities
December is a magical time in the preschool classroom, keep reading for some activities you can add to your classroom.
Christmas Tree Name Activity
Make this festive Christmas tree name activity with your preschool students this year. It is easy to edit and prep! This resource is available in my TPT store.
Add jars upside down to different shades of green paint. Lightly draw a triangle on a white piece of paper and have your students print circles inside the triangle. Use a brown paint stick to make the tree trunk.
I love using these dot art sponges for art projects. Add them to colorful paint and have your students fill in a Christmas tree.
Christmas Tree Shape Posters
I love changing our shape posters; these Christmas trees are perfect for December. Use these tree shape posters as decor or flash cards. Download them here!
Christmas Tree Number Order Activity
Work on number order with this Christmas Tree activity. Print the trees on green construction paper and loosely cut them out. I added sentence strips for my students to add the numbered leaves in order. Download this activity here!
Wreath Craft
This is a fun and easy craft to make with your students. Cut out the center of a paper plate and give your students green and red strips of paper. Have your students tear the paper into pieces and glue down the green papers to cover the paper plate and then add the red berries on top.
December Preschool Scissor Activity
Download these trees on green paper, print them on green construction paper or card stock, and loosely cut them out. Have your students practice cutting straight lines. Grab the template here.
December Sensory Bin Activity
Grab some plastic Christmas ornament bulbs and put them in your sensory bin. I found mine at Hobby Lobby, but these on Amazon look similar. I dyed these white beans shades of green.
Print these December to-do lists to keep track of your tasks this month!
