Dr. Seuss’s Birthday Activities!
Some of our favorite Dr. Seuss books! We also did a crazy hair day, I just love how creative our parents were!
I love the drawings the kids made of the Cat in the Hat!
This Cat in the Hat hat was very easy. I gave the kids a template of the hat, red strips of paper, and a glue stick. Later they trimmed the strips, and we added a strip around the bottom and stapled it!
This project was fun too and the kids love to have their hands painted! Next year I will have the kids print two, so they will have a Thing One and a Thing Two.
On the shelf, we cut green eggs. I always have scissor work out for the kids, they love to improve their scissor skills.
These pom poms remind me of truffula trees. We use these scoopers ALL the time!
Magnet transferring using fun bowls. This is a fun magnetic kit for your classroom!
You can’t celebrate Wacky Wednesday without Oobleck! So easy to make, mix cornstarch, water, and a little coloring until the consistency is right. You want it firm, but then it should run through your fingers when you pick it up.
Green Eggs and Ham for a snack! And they are super easy to make! Place pretzels on a cookie tray, top with white chocolate melts, and bake at 200 for five minutes. Top with green M&Ms and let cool.
