Groundhog Day is February 2nd and the story goes when the groundhog emerges he will predict the weather for the next six weeks. If the weather is sunny and he sees his shadow there will be six more weeks of winter. If the weather is cloudy and the groundhog does not see his shadow the weather will be fair as we head into spring.
