Ice Cream Themed Preschool Activities

Our last week of preschool is quickly approaching and I thought it would be fun to have a bunch of ice cream-themed activities in our classroom! And of course, have an ice cream party on the last day of school! Here are some ideas for ice cream-themed preschool activities.

Ice Cream Themed Sensory Bin

This is the easiest sensory bin and the kids love it! Add a few ice cream bowls, scoopers, and pom poms. And if they spill it is a quick and easy clean up.

Ice Cream Themed Playdough Mats

Practice shapes with your students using these ice cream playdough mats. Great for working on fine motor skills and strengthening hand and finger muscles.

Ice Cream Scissor Strips

Print the strips and cut them apart. Encourage your students to practice cutting along the lines. Both color and black-and-white printing options are included in this printable.

Ice Cream Themed Preschool Math and Number Activities

I placed this 1-10 ice cream cone on the wall and told my students to practice counting as they walked by. It was a HUGE hit! You could also use the ice cream cone to count down the last 10 days of school.

Add these ice cream number order puzzles to your math shelf. Number-order puzzles are a fun and engaging way to help your students practice and develop their number sequencing skills. Both color and black-and-white printing options are available. Print the black and white option for your class, have them color, and then cut on the lines to do their own puzzles.
