Name Tags – Preschool Classroom
I love using name tags in the preschool classroom! As the kids enter class they place their backpacks down and head for their name tags and sit down on the carpet. Each child will spell their name and then practice their colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc…

When using this name tag the students will say each color as they point to the pencils.
This name tag is great for practicing shapes.
I tell the student to use their pointer finger as they count to ten and touch each number. Don’t forget to count backward for an extra challenge.
Counting from 1-20 for students who want an extra challenge.
We say or sing the alphabet while pointing to each letter.
Capital letters of the alphabet.
We sing the vowel song and say what each sound makes.
My Tuesday/Thursday class are the Busy Bees, we use this name tag in our rotating job pocket chart.
These name tags are a great way to have your students practice recognizing and spelling their names and they can practice their colors, shapes, letters, and numbers at the same time!
These are perfect for back-to-school or to use throughout the school year.
These name tags are editable! You will need to download the free version of Adobe Reader to be able to add your students’ names. There is also a link in the file to the free reader.
If you do not want to edit the names, just write them in with markers!
