Preschool Activities with Pony Beads
There are so many preschool activities you can do with pony beads in your preschool classroom. All of these activities are great for working on those fine motor skills. Don’t forget to talk to your students about patterning it fits nicely with many of these activities.
Simple snakes are a fun first activity with pony beads.
Make these fun friendship bracelets at the beginning or at the end of the school year. Sing The Make New Friends song, (one is silver and the other is gold.)
Use silver and gold pony beads and a white pipe cleaner.
Make spiders with white pony beads and black pipe cleaners.
Pumpkin bracelets are fun for the fall. Use orange pony beads and a green pipe cleaner.
There are so many fun combinations of colors and patterns for Christmas. Your students will love taking them home to hang on the tree.
In winter use snowflake shapes and winter colors.
The Valentine’s wands are probably our favorite activity. Plan on having the kids make multiples! The heart pony beads were a fun find.

These butterflies are a perfect springtime activity!
The kids love to push pony beads into playdough! It is not my favorite, because it can be time-consuming to remove them.
