Preschool Torn Paper Art Ideas

Are you looking for fun art projects that will also help your students develop their fine motor skills? Try tearing paper! Add these preschool-torn paper art ideas to your classroom.

Demonstrate how to tear paper with your students. Pinch with your thumb and forefinger and tear. The students will try to pull the paper and I also demonstrate how that does not work.

Teacher tips:

When making the strips for the students to tear I use a ruler to tear the paper into straight strips.

Use all of those scraps of paper you have been saving!
