Read Across America and Wacky Wednesday!
During Read Across America week we read Wacky Wednesday. When the kids come to class on the next day of school they walk into a wacky classroom. All day we are saying, “That is wacky!” It is so much fun and easy to pull off. The excitement level is off the charts and it is so much fun to see the kids sooooo excited:)
Wacky Wednesday is by far one of the most talked-about days in preschool! Remember when the cereal box was on the bookshelf and the vowels were in the wrong place and there was a shoe on the wall?
I printed out some shoe templates and taped them to the front door, chairs, walls, and in the bathroom.
Our table was wearing rain boots, what??? That is wacky!
The calendar numbers were rearranged:) So much fun!
Fish swimming with our fish!
The alphabet chart was hanging upside down.
More upside-down alphabet.
Tissue in the tissue box?!? That’s wacky!
Our beloved Pete the Cat hanging out with our artwork!
No need to wait for Read Across America week, do this after reading Wacky Wednesday to the kids, guaranteed lots of fun, and they will be talking about it for weeks:)
