Rocket Name and Scissor Craft

This rocket name and scissor preschool craft is perfect to help your students learn their names and work on their scissor skills.  A great project to incorporate with your transportation theme!

Editable Rocket Name Activity

To add the names to the rockets you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then just type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing delete the letters and add the next name. The resource includes templates for students with up to 11 letters in their names.

Print the rockets on bright card stock or colorful construction paper and cut out.

Have your students cut on the lines.

Next, glue the pieces in order to make the rocket!

You can also print on white construction paper and have your students color the rockets.

Rocket Number Order Activity

Also included in the resource are number-order rocket puzzles. The puzzles include 1-5, 1-10, 11-20, and 10-100 counting by tens. And our favorite 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 blastoff!
