Scarecrow and Crow Preposition Activity

Your students will love working with this hands-on scarecrow and crow preposition activity! To use this resource print the position word cards, the scarecrow, and crow, laminate, cut out, and add a popsicle stick to the crow. Use the cards to teach position words and have your students practice moving the crow to the different positions. This is such a fun activity to do during fall and Thanksgiving time! Practice position words like under, over, behind, in front of, etc…

Tell your students, “Place the crow above the scarecrow.”

After they have practiced a few times, have your students practice without the cards.

The resource also includes a black-and-white version of the activity so your students can color and make their own scarecrows and crow to practice at home.
