September Preschool Activities
There are so many activities to do in the preschool classroom in September, including arts and crafts, name activities, and math and literacy activities, and at the same time developing those fine motor skills.
Fall suncatchers are a favorite and look great hanging in your windows. Just give your students a sheet of clear contact paper and pieces of tissue paper. After they have added the tissue put another piece of contact paper on top and cut it out. I was going for apples with this craft, but they look more like pumpkins! OOPs:)
Arts and Crafts
Apple printing! Cut the apple in half and then cut out the handles for easy gripping. Add red and green paint. Easy setup and a classic preschool art activity.
Paint apple trees at the easel. I first demonstrate how to paint a tree and add apples. The results are the best!
Make fall trees. Print this template and add lots of fall paint colors.
Fine Motor Activities
Work on fine motor skills with this tearing paper activity! Just tear red and green strips and have your students tear them into pieces. You can find the template for this apple here.
Do your students love to use a hole punch? This activity is always being used in the classroom. Just add a hole punch and some fun colored paper. I just grabbed these hole punchers and they are a big hit! If you want to add a fall-September theme, this resource is available in my TPT store.

September Number Order Activity
