It is so much fun to get creative with shelf activities. The kids loved seeing all the Teddy Bear related activities on the shelf during Teddy Bear week. In addition to the activities below we painted teddy bear shapes at the easel, we colored teddy bear shapes, we learned teddy bear poems, and at the end of the week, we had Teddy Bear Day!
On the art shelf directed drawings for the kids to do during work time.
On the math shelf, I added teddy bear stamps to this math sheet.
On our practical life shelf, I added teddy bears for the kids to mail. They are really into mail right now, so this was perfect!
Also on the practical life shelf, I added this transferring activity! I love finding these silicon molds when I am out and about, they come in great for these kinds of activities.
On the language shelf, I made these bear preposition cards. The kids love this work and my goal is to keep rotating the activity.
Pin poking is great for fine motor skills. (And adding googly eyes makes it the best!)
Pin for later!
