Surfboard Name and Scissor Preschool Activity

This surfboard name and scissor activity is a perfect craft for your summer preschool class! Help your students learn their names and work on their scissor skills as they build their personalized surfboards.  A great project to incorporate at the end of the school year or summer theme.

Editable Surfboard Name Activity

To add the names to the surfboards you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing delete the letters and add the next name. The resource includes templates for students with up to 11 letters in their names.

Print the surfboards on bright card stock or colorful construction paper and cut them out. Print sand on light-colored paper and cut them out. Next, have your students cut on the lines and glue them onto contrasting paper.

You can also print on white construction paper and have your students color the surfboard.

Surfboard Number Order Activity

Included in the resource are number-order surfboard puzzles. The puzzles include 1-5, 1-10, 11-20, and 10-100 counting by tens.
