Umbrella Name and Scissor Craft

Are you looking for a fun spring craft to make with your students? This umbrella name and scissor craft will help your students with name recognition and scissor skills.

To add your students’ names to the umbrellas you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then just type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing delete the letters and add the next name. The resource includes templates for students with up to 11 letters in their names.

Print the umbrellas on bright card stock or colorful construction paper and cut them out.

Have your students cut on the lines and then reassemble their umbrellas!

You can also print on white construction paper and have your students color the umbrellas.

Umbrella Number Order Activity

Also included in the resource are number-order umbrella puzzles. The puzzles include 1-5, 1-10, 11-20, and 10-100 counting by tens.
