Lucky Charms Preschool Activities
The week of St. Patrick’s Day is the perfect time to add Lucky Charms activities to your preschool classroom! So next time you are at the store be sure to pick up a box of Lucky Charms.
Sorting and Graphing Lucky Charms
With my younger students, we sort the marshmallows using this Lucky Charms sorting mat.
Have your older students graph the marshmallows. Ask questions: Which shape has the most marshmallows? Which shape has the least marshmallows? Use this Lucky Charms graphing template.
Fine Motor Activities
Practice scissor skills with these Lucky Charms strips. I like to print them on white card stock or construction paper so the strips have a little more weight to them. When using construction paper just cut the paper to 8 1/2 by 11 and add it to your printer.
This Lucky Charms gluing activity is probably one of my students’ favorite activities this month. Have them cut the fun marshmallow shapes and glue them to their bowl of milk.
Lucky Charms Math Activities
These Lucky Charms count and clip cards are on the math shelf. Just add clothes pins to the activity and your students can practice counting. Teacher tip: add a sticker behind the answer on the back of the card so your students can check their answers.
Practice counting and writing numbers with this Lucky Charms counting worksheet.
We love all things patterning in our classroom so I had to include a Lucky Charms patterning activity. You can print this as a worksheet and have your students cut out the shapes and glue them. Or you can print on card stock, laminate, cut out the pieces, and use this as a shelf activity.
I hope you enjoy these Lucky Charms activities in your classroom! Don’t forget to add Lucky Charms to your grocery list!
