There are so many fun December art and craft preschool projects to do with the kids! Christmas is such a magical time in preschool! As a parent, I love pulling out the kids’ Christmas decorations they made throughout the years! 
These fun pinecone trees are so festive! Mix glue and white paint and have the kids paint the pinecones. Add then the best part, add glitter!
At the easel, it is fun to add Christmas shapes to the paper. Christmas trees, stockings, wreaths, gifts, and candy canes are fun. Be sure to add lots of paint choices!
These Christmas wreaths turned out so fun. The prep for this project was easier than I anticipated. I cut the center out of a sturdy plate, traced holly leaves on a piece of paper, and then stapled the paper to several shades of green paper and cut them out. I did the same with the berries but only used one shade of red. You could also use red paint and have the kids use their fingers to add the berries. I told the kids to glue the holly leaves until they could not see the plate. I then had them add the holly berries. They love any project involving a glue bottle! I added the ribbon with hot glue to make it a bit more secure.
A couple of times a month I have a collage project available for the kids. This year I cut out Christmas tree and ornament shapes for the kids to decorate. For this project paint sticks, washi tape, dot stickers, tissue paper, gems, and punched stars were available.
