Letter G – Preschool Alphabet Activities
Introducing new letters in preschool is always exciting, especially when your students can learn through hands-on activities, fine motor practice, and playful exploration. Focusing on one letter at a time helps students build strong early literacy skills while keeping learning fun and engaging.
Start by talking about words that begin with G, like goat, gumballs, grapes, glue, and guitar. Encourage your students to listen for the /g/ sound at the beginning of each word. Adding simple, engaging activities to your centers is a great way to reinforce letter recognition and beginning sounds while keeping learning fun and interactive for young learners.
