Letter O – Preschool Alphabet Activities
Learning new letters in preschool is even more exciting when children can explore them through hands-on activities, fine motor practice, and playful learning experiences. Focusing on one letter at a time helps young learners build confidence with letter recognition and beginning sounds.
Start by introducing words that begin with O, such as ostrich and octopus. Encourage your students to say the words aloud and listen for the /o/ sound at the beginning. Adding simple, engaging activities to your learning centers is a fun way to reinforce letter recognition while keeping preschoolers interested and excited about learning new letters.
