Letter S – Preschool Alphabet Activities
Exploring new letters in preschool becomes even more meaningful when your students can learn through hands-on activities, fine motor practice, and playful experiences. Focusing on one letter at a time helps young learners strengthen their letter recognition skills while building confidence with beginning sounds.
Start by introducing words that begin with S, such as sun and snake. Invite your students to say each word aloud and listen closely for the /s/ sound at the beginning. Incorporating simple, engaging activities into your learning centers is a fun way to reinforce letter learning while giving students plenty of opportunities to practice early literacy and fine motor skills.
