Letter Q – Preschool Alphabet Activities
Learning new letters in preschool becomes more meaningful when your students can explore them through hands-on activities, playful learning, and fine motor practice. Spending time focusing on one letter at a time helps young learners become more confident with letter recognition and beginning sounds.
Start by introducing words that begin with Q, such as quilt, queen, and quail. Encourage your students to say the words aloud and listen for the /q/ sound at the beginning. Adding simple, engaging activities to your centers is a great way to reinforce letter learning while keeping preschoolers interested and excited about discovering new letters.
