Letter P – Preschool Alphabet Activities
Exploring new letters in preschool becomes even more fun when your students learn through hands-on activities, playful practice, and opportunities to strengthen fine motor skills. Spending time focusing on one letter at a time helps young learners grow more confident with letter recognition and beginning sounds.
Start by introducing words that begin with P, such as penguin, pig, pizza, and pencil. Encourage your students to say each word out loud and listen carefully for the /p/ sound at the beginning. Including simple and engaging activities in your learning centers is a great way to help reinforce letter recognition while keeping your students excited about learning new letters.
