by Ms. Stephanie's Preschool

Learning new letters in preschool becomes even more meaningful when children can explore them through hands-on activities, fine motor practice, and playful learning experiences. Spending time focusing on one letter at a time will help your students strengthen letter recognition while becoming more confident with beginning sounds.

Start by introducing words that begin with K, such as kite, kangaroo, koala, key, and king. Invite your students to say the words aloud and listen carefully for the /k/ sound at the beginning. Adding simple, engaging activities to your classroom centers is a wonderful way to reinforce letter learning.

These activities can be found in my TPT store here!
