Spring is the perfect time to bring bright colors, hands-on learning, and fine motor practice into your preschool, Pre-K, or kindergarten classroom.

Because the resource is editable, you can quickly type in each student’s name before printing—saving time while keeping learning personalized. To add the names to the circles, you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print.

Print the caterpillar’s heads and circles on different colored construction paper and cut them out.

You can also print the caterpillars on white paper and have your students color their own.

The finished caterpillars will make an adorable spring bulletin board or hallway display. They are also great for student portfolios, showing growth in name recognition and fine motor skills over time.
