Editable Butterfly Name and Scissor Activity

To add your students’ names to the butterflies, you will need to download this free version of Adobe. Then type each letter of your student’s name in one of the gray boxes and print. If you have more than one student with the same number of letters in their name after printing, delete the letters and add the next name. The resource includes templates for students with up to 11 letters in their names.

Print the butterflies on bright card stock or colorful construction paper and cut them out.
Have your students cut on the lines and then reassemble their butterflies!

You can also print on white construction paper and have your students color the butterflies.
Butterfly Number Order

Also included in the resource are number-order butterfly puzzles. The puzzles include 1-5, 1-10, 11-20, and 10-100 counting by tens.
